Important course notes
- Practical subjectsGeography and Physical Education are the practical-based subjects for the Bachelor of Arts course.
- Literature combinationA maximum of two literature subjects may be selected in any Honours or General combination.
- Honours electivesPractical-based subjects cannot be selected as General elective papers with a Bachelor of Arts Honours course.
- General combinationGeography and Physical Education cannot be selected together in a Bachelor of Arts General combination.
- Science requirementMathematics is compulsory for Bachelor of Science General combinations, except Mathematics Honours.
- Physical EducationStudents selecting Physical Education should be physically fit; authenticated district-level or higher sports certificates receive priority.
- Common paperEnvironmental Studies is a common General paper in Part III for both Honours and General courses.
- Compulsory papersCommunicative English and a Major Indian Language are compulsory 50-mark papers in the Part I examination.
